Growing in Christ

Beginning with the Fall Quarter of 2017, Pilgrim’s Adult Bible Class is joining its Sunday School, including its restarted post-Confirmation/youth class, in using Concordia Publishing House’s “Growing in Christ” curriculum of Old Testament and New Testament Biblical events.

For the adults, the change provides opportunities to study in depth some familiar (and possibly not-so-familiar) Biblical accounts. And, by studying the same accounts that their children are studying in Sunday School, parents with their children can have additional opportunities away from Pilgrim to explore God’s Word together, pray together, engage in family activities that grow out of the lessons, and extend lesson applications to their everyday lives.

All are invited and welcome to participate in Adult Bible Class and Sunday School in person each Sunday morning, beginning with Refreshments at 9:15 a.m. Everyone opens and closes their sessions together in the Great Room. For the main lesson, children and youth go to their individual classrooms in the new Parish Hall and remodeled Office Area, respectively.

You can participate in past sessions of Adult Bible Class online at your convenience by following the links below to audio and handout files for each week that they are available. And, you can read more about Pilgrim’s classes and groups here.
