There are a lot of sites out there on the worldwide web, but the ones linked below are those we think might be especially useful for you. For example, some links show how Pilgrim is a part of conservative, confessional Lutherans around the world, country, state, and region, and from others you can see that we also serve our region and community. In many cases, the descriptions with the links give you both some idea of why we think the link is useful and of what you will find on the site.

International Lutheran Council
The international association of confessional Lutherans to which our church body belongs; find out where in the world confessional Lutheran churches are, read papers shared at international gatherings, etc.

Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary, St. Catharines, ON
One of two seminaries of Lutheran Church–Canada, CLTS was started by faculty from Concordia Theological Seminary, Ft. Wayne, and, under Ontario law, grants its academic degrees under the auspices of Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario. Our pastor completed his seminary training at CLTS.

Luther Academy
Promotes confessional Lutheran theology and research through conferences, scholarly exchanges, and publications, all of which assist the Church both to preserve and to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.

Lutheran Heritage Foundation
Translates, publishes, distributes, and introduces books that are Bible-based, Christ-centered, and Reformation-driven–in more than 90 languages, with dozens more requested; more than 1,000 titles; and more than 3 million Lutheran books to pastors, seminary students, missionaries and churches, all at no cost to them.

The Book of Concord
Said to be “the largest and most frequently visited Internet site for the Lutheran Confessions”, attracting “visitors literally from around the world” and “often the only way people have to access the Book of Concord.”

Lutheran Women in Mission
Once the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, the official women’s auxiliary of the LCMS nurtures all women in the Lord and channels their support to mission efforts worldwide through its collection of mites

Higher Things
Conferences and publications targeted to teenagers, their parents, and pastors, all grounded in the Bible, Lutheran Confessions, and historic liturgy of the Church; also includes ministry to college and university students through Christ on Campus

Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne
One of the two LCMS seminaries, with roots going back to 1844, CTS was founded to address needs for “a clear Lutheran Confession coupled with a vigorous missionary effort”. The seminary began in Ft. Wayne, moved for a time first to St. Louis, MO, and then to Springfield, IL, and eventually returned to Ft. Wayne. From its various locations, God has sent forth from CTS more than 5,000 pastors and missionaries to serve in the United States and around the world.

Concordia Seminary, St. Louis
The other of the two LCMS seminaries, CS traces its roots back to 1839 in Perry County, MO, and has reportedly provided to the church in the United States and around the world more than 12,000 professional workers.
